I honed my mixology skills at the Oak Room of the Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston. Other experience includes the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, and the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, where I facilitated community tasting events while bartending at the Crow's Nest. I am currently working with a team of mixologists at Simon & Seafort's. To date, I have created more than 300 new cocktails. I've lived in Anchorage since 1999.

Final Winter Wine Series Tasting of the Season at Orso!

Chad Culley, Bar Manager of Orso, is conducting his last Winter Wine Series tasting on April 14th.

This month the focus will be a taste of three blind wines using a format created by the International Guild of Sommeliers.

Wow! Now is your chance to see how the Masters do it.

Guests will receive a starter sparkling wine, the three blind wines and a glass of their favorite at the end of the event with light appetizers selected by well known Chef Patrick Hoogerhyde.

The cost is $35.00 per person but don't wait too long to sign up. It's almost sold out, as are most of Orso's popular events.

Are they going to be doing spring or summer wine tastings after the last one on April 14? ;) Just wondering and wanting to plan ahead!
