Winner: Governor meets with backers for bridge to moon

I thought this would be a kick, but I didn't realize it would be as fun as it was. And even more amazing, the majority of you met deadline. The competition was stiff. We got around 75 entries showing a wide degree of imagination and engagement. I haven't laughed so much since I heard that Attorney General Gregg Renkes was narrator of the state ethics video. But that's not what you care about, you want to know who the winner is. A virtual drum roll please... give it up for WILLIAM PHILLIPS of Kenai, for "Governor meets with backers for bridge to moon." I wish I had thought of that. It elegantly ties a second issue to the jet to illuminate the loony grandiosity of our inspiring leader in eight short words.
