And Here Are Your Alaska Connections On Season-Opening ECHL Rosters
The ECHL sent out season-opening rosters today and a quick glance at the list, by my count at least, found 18 Alaska connections (not counting the Aces, of course).
Here goes:
Bakersfield Condors: Former UAF foward Adam Naglich.
Cincinnati Cyclones: Former Aces head cracker Hans Benson; former (as is, way, way back in the day) UAF defenseman Dwayne Zinger (on IR).
Elmira Jackals: Former UAA defenseman Mat Robinson; former Aces goaltender Chris "Suitcase'' Holt (on IR).
Florida Everblades: Former Aces blueliner and league Defenseman of the Year Peter Metcalf; former Aces goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu; former UAF forward Ryan Lang (on IR).
Johnstown Chiefs: Former Aces winger Matt Robinson (not to be confused with Mat Robinson, though he always is and will probably continue to be); former Aces winger/defenseman Erik Felde of Anchorage.
Las Vegas Wranglers: Defenseman Jason Krischuk of Anchorage.
Reading Royals: Former UAA center Charlie Kronschnabel (an alternate captain); former Aces goaltender Kevin Regan.
South Carolina Stingrays: Former UAA forward Spencer Carbery.
Stockton Thunder: Former UAF forward Kelly Czuy; former UAF defenseman Steve Vanoosten (on IR).
Toledo Walleye: Goaltender Jordan Pearce of Anchorage.
