RON PAUL WILL RESTORE U.S. SOVEREIGNTY

All of the trade deals and world government organizations, which all of the presidential candidates support (except Ron Paul), such as the ICC, NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA, are all a major threat to our nation's sovereignty. They transfer power from our government to unelected foreign elites.

Most neoconservatives like Romney and Huckabee are heavily influenced by the globalist (one world government) ideals of groups such as the Council on Foreign Relations. At last count, there were more than 200 members of the CFR in the Bush administration. Mike Huckabee's foreign policy advisor is Richard Haass, who is currently the President of the CFR.

Speech: Richard Haass' Globalist Manefesto

Mitt Romney's Campaign Chairman in New York is William Weld. Like Haass, Weld is also a CFR bigshot who authored a paper called "Building a North American Community," which basically calls for an unelected, trans-national government to rule over all of North America. Romney's foreign policy advisor is "Liz" Cheney, daughter of Dick Cheney (former CFR President), who has been one of the leading architects of the Bush administration's PNAC-inspired foreign policy.

The ICC wants to try our soldiers as war criminals, and both the WTO and CAFTA could force Americans to get a prescription to take herbs and vitamins. The WTO has forced Congress to change our laws to meet their needs, and not our own. If anything, the WTO makes trade relations worse by giving foreign competitors a new way to attack U.S. jobs.

The NAFTA superhighway, being built by a Spanish company, is just one part of a plan to erase our borders and create the North American Union, a single nation State like the EU, out of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, with a new, unelected bureaucracy and money system. Forget about controlling immigration under the NAU scheme. There won't be any borders anymore, or a free America. Our limited, constitutional government will be gone forever.

Let's not forget the UN either. It wants to impose a direct Carbon Tax on us. Ron Paul successfully fought this move in Congress last year, but if we are going to stop ongoing attempts of this world government body to rule over us, we need someone in the White House who knows how to say "No." We must withdraw from any organization or treaty that infringes upon our nation's sovereignty.

RON PAUL DOES NOT WORSHIP THE FED

I have known about Dr. Ron Paul since 2002, when I saw him one morning on CNBC calling Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan on the carpet for the Fed's Enron-style accounting. It was a display of courage unlike anything I had ever seen in my life. What was so astonishing to me about Dr. Paul's performance was his tremendous courage and fearlessness in the face of Greenspan's power.

Remember, this was at a time when Greenspan was near the height of his power, universally revered as an economic and monetary genius, beyond reproach. (They called Greenspan "Maestro" which is a fitting enough title, since he certainly managed to play just about everyone.) When dealing with Greenspan, most politicians would show great deference, bowing to his supposed "superior knowledge," not understanding a word he said, but thanking him profusely and gratuitously for his wisdom.

Not Ron Paul. When it comes to money and our monetary system, Ron Paul knows his stuff. He is certainly one of the most knowledgeable people on the subject, and as a result, he was never afraid to go head to head with the Chairman.

While I was originally attracted to Dr. Paul due to his honest and sensible financial position, his views on other subjects - most especially foreign policy - are just as clear. He is unique for being one of the few leaders today with a clear understanding of what has gone wrong with our great nation, and how we can fix it. To me, Dr. Paul represents our last, best chance to recreate America as the Land of the Free, as it was truly intended by our Founders. For more information on Dr. Paul, I urge you to read his 1988 book "Freedom Under Siege."

RON PAUL IS ARMED WITH THE CONSTITUTION

Ron Paul is a man of unimpeachable integrity who will bring honor to the White House. As someone who has studied his record, I am confident that, as President, Dr. Paul will follow, defend, and uphold The Constitution. I can't say that about any of the other candidates.

Dr. Paul is also the only candidate with a solid understanding of monetary policy and the economic issues facing our country. He's published foor books on the subject of sound economics. You can read them free at RonPaulLibrary.org if you wish. His fiscal perspective alone makes him the only candidate in this election or recent decades who can reverse an otherwise downward economic spiral. His social perspectives solidify him as the candidate for liberty and the candidate for America.

It's an honor to support Ron Paul. He is a true patriot and statesman, and by far the best candidate for leading our country forward. He's a revolutionary who's armed with The Constitution and he isn't afraid to use it!

RON PAUL GAINS 16% OF WV DELEGATES TODAY, 2nd place to HUCKABEE

RON PAUL LEADING ROMNEY AND MCCAIN IN NATIONAL DELEGATES AFTER FIRST SUPER TUESDAY CAUCUS! (references WSAZ dot com website, from WV):

Delegates so far today, from the very first super tuesday caucus (WV):
HUCKABEE, 15
RON PAUL 3,
McCAIN 0
MITT ROMNEY 0

The media is, by and large, reporting that Huckabee won 18 delegates today in WV. But this is not true. Ron Paul won 3 of those 18, for 16% of the delegates won today! See the local media, WSAZ website, which repots that Ron Paul Gets 3 National Delegates !

After Ron Paul's 10% showing on the first convention ballot, his name was dropped out of the running for ballot #2. The Ron Paul people went to Huckabee and made a deal to get 3 of the 18 national delegates in exchange for throwing their votes to Huckabee. On the second ballot, Huckabee got 52%, and Ron Paul gets 3 of his national delegates. Not a bad trade for 10%.

RON PAUL KNOWS ECONOMICS

Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate of either party who both understands and will abide by the limitations of federal government authority prescribed by the Constitution. He is also the only candidate who is aware of the deadly damage done to our financial system by the Federal Reserve Corporation, and he is committed to fix it.

There are many reasons to like Ron Paul - commitment to life, his efforts toward lower taxes and controlled spending, and not least, his stance against endless, no-win wars. But in these days when the dollar is dropping like a rock, it is his position on monetary policy that is most timely. He is the only economically literate politician on the national scene--a true fiscal conservative. While others actively avoid third rails of politics, he actively embraces them.

As the Ranking Member of the Congressional Joint Economic Committee on Economics; as the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee's Subcommittee on Domestic and International Monetary Policy, Trade, and Technology; as an author of four books on sound economics (read 'em free at RonPaulLibrary.com), Dr. Ron Paul is uniquely and eminently qualified to lead our economy like no other candidate on the GOP stage.

Ron Paul knows the economy, and what it will take to revive it. Few people have a head for economics. Most people, like John McCain's, eyes glaze-over when you talk about subjects like monetary policy, the business cycle, and the economy. Not Dr. Paul. He understands the economic ills of our nation and how to cure them. That's why his colleagues in Congress turns to him to head serve on these important financial comittees.

Ron Paul's exchanges in the House with the likes of Allen Greenspan and the current Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke should be required reading for any economics student. Watch for yourself as Ron Paul takes Bernanke to the carpet...

non-partisan

Can I vote in the the democratic caucus if I keep my political affiliation as non-partisan?

DR. PAUL SPEAKS TRUTH TO POWER

I support Ron Paul's candidacy because he is the only candidate for president in 2008 who is both anti-war and anti-welfare. Moreover, he advocates radical and desperately needed reforms of the IRS and the Federal Reserve cabal. He appears to be that rarest of all politicians: one who actually has principles and acts in accordance with those principles.

I think of Ron Paul as a modern-day Socrates. Like Socrates, Dr. Paul remains true to his principles by not being afraid to say things that are unpopular. He's the only candidate who is not afraid to say "the Emperor wears no clothes." His consistency, forthrightness, and courage in the face of what have been brutal onslaughts has brought him worldwide admiration and respect.

Only Paul offers hope for real change in America change; all other candidates promise nothing but the status quo and to take America further down the road of more wars, imperialism, fascism, big government, high taxes, declining dollar, feudalism and an even more bloated bureaucracy.

Alaska Democrats: Vote "Uncommitted"

It's Good for Alaskans.
It's Good for Alaska's future.

Alaskan Democrats: stand up and be counted. As we approach fifty years of statehood, it is sad to note that not once has a candidate for president ever campaigned in Alaska. Ever. This means that the needs of our Great Land don't figure into the national debate. This means that to the candidates running for President, our Alaskan hopes and dreams simply aren't as important as those of Iowans or Californians.

Alaskans, it's time for change. Voting 'Uncommitted' this evening is a vote for a strong Alaska. Your 'Uncommitted' vote will send a delegation to the National Democratic Convention that can extract promises from the Democratic nominee for president. Like a promise to campaign here in Alaska. Let 2008 be the year that the Democratic nominee for President shook hands down on 4th Avenue and went fishing at Ship Creek.

Make Alaska Matter: VOTE UNCOMMITTED

ONLY RON PAUL CAN RESTORE AMERICAN PRINCIPLES

Americans have lost faith in politicians, and for good reasons. Taxes, spending, and the national debt continue to rise, special interest bribes riddle the Congress, courts, and executive branch, and our schools are in shambles. Yet our government continues to wage a ceaseless assault on the American people's rights to make their own choices. It has done so through the USA Patriot Act, the REAL ID Act, the War on Drugs, McCain-Feingold, and countless other initiatives. The endless and inept foreign policy of interventionism of the establishment politicians has put our country in grave danger not only of a destructive war with Iran but a new financial crisis.

The 2008 election thus comes at a critical time in the history of the United States and the world. I endorse Ron Paul for president because we believe he is the candidate best able to solve these profound problems under the banner of liberty.

Dr. Ron Paul will be a unifying president. He was a star athlete who worked from his teenage years onward to earn his way through college. He graduated from Gettysburg College and the Duke University School of Medicine, before proudly serving as a flight surgeon (Captain) in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s. He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice in Brazoria County. As a specialist in obstetrics/gynecology, Dr. Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies. Together Dr. and Mrs. Paul have five children, eighteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Ron Paul has served in Congress, on and off, since the mid-1970s for a total of ten terms. He has been called "the one exception to the Gang of 535" on Capitol Hill and "the Taxpayers Best Friend." He is highly regarded for his honesty, integrity, and commitment to principle. Paul does not flip-flop on the issues, nor does he apologize for his consistent voting record. His vast experience, calm and reasoned temperament, expertise on policy issues, commitment to family, and overwhelming regard for American principles make him uniquely qualified to serve in the oval office.

A Paul administration would dramatically reduce the size and scope of the federal government over our lives and liberties. President Paul will work to abolish the Internal Revenue Service, emphasize free trade and diplomacy over confrontation, cease the war on drugs, which has destroyed the lives and liberties of the poor in inner cities, and end our error-ridden system of federal capital punishment. To accomplish these goals, and ensure that those in greatest need do not suffer during the transition, Paul will bring home the troops and abandon our ruinously expensive and futile effort to police the world.

Only Dr. Ron Paul can restore the American principles of peace, individual liberty, personal responsibility, and limited government.

WHAT KIND OF CONSERVATIVE ARE YOU?

Neoconservatism emerged in the United States from the Left's rejection of social liberalism and counter-culture of the 1960s. The development of this new conservatism (neoconservatism) is based on the writings of Irving Kristol, the co-founder of Encounter magazine and Norman Podhoretz, who were the first to describe themselves as "neoconservatives" during the Cold War.

Their writings influenced George H. W. Bush, and the George W. Bush presidential administrations, and culminated in a re-alignment in American politics, which resulted in the defection of socially conservative Democrats to the Republican party during the 90s.

What seperates neoconservatives like Bush, Romney, Giuliani, McCain, and especially Mike Huckabee who is a Neocon on steroids, from traditional conservatives like Ron Paul or Pat Buchanan, is that they do not feel any alarm or anxiety about the promoting the growth of the federal government, seeing it as both natural and inevitable.

Traditional conservatives have always promoted limited federal government and sovereignty of our States. Whereas, neocons promote federalization and centralization of power, working continuously to usurp power from the States.

Neocons are also bent on using the government to enforce morality even though history shows that these afflictions cannot be cured by politicians.

Traditional conservatives believe that since human nature is limited and finite, any attempt to create a man-made utopia is headed for disaster and potential carnage. They see neoconservative ideologies ragarding the creation of a social democracy and a managerial society (a Nanny State) as malevolent attempts to remake humanity. Traditional conservatives lean toward tradition, family, customs, religious institutions and classical learning to provide social wisdom and moral guidance -- not the federal government.

Most neoconservatives are heavily influenced by the globalist (one world government) ideals of groups such as the Council on Foreign Relations. At last count, there were more than 200 members of the CFR in the Bush administration. Mike Huckabee's foreign policy advisor is Richard Haass, who is currently the President of the CFR.

Speech: Richard Haass' Globalist Manefesto

Traditional conservatives believe in the absolute, unconditional sovereignty of a free and independent United States, rejecting any and all attemps by any foreign bodies to rule over us, such as the United Nations, ICC, NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA, all of which transfer power from our government to unelected foreign elites.

Neocons embrace an expansionist foreign policy. Whereas, traditional conservatives see themselves as defenders of the Republic, pointing to the downfall of Rome as an example of how an ongoing campaign of military expansionism can destroy a Republic.

Neoconservatives believe we should supplant the traditions of other societies with our own. They see themselves as on the side of "right" and fighting evil without respecting or looking for common ground with countries that do not share our democratic preferences.

Traditional conservatives deny the existence of a universal political and economic model that is suitable for all societies and cultures. Instead, they believe that another country's political institutions should be self-adjusted to suit its own culture and heritage.

The neoconservative's imperialistic foreign policy runs so counter to American's tradition that it must remain a foreign policy that dare not speak its name. Only through stealth and the endless "War on Terror" jingohism that's being propagandized to an emergency-managed and willfuly-gullible public can the United States continue to pursue the imperialistic reality that is our current foreign policy.

Traditional conservatives believe that imperialism should be delegitimized in the light of open and honest, public discourse. The "War on Terror" can never be won because it not a war on a clearly-defined enemy -- a country or a people, it's a war on a tactic. Terrorism is a tactic that will always be used by extremists no matter what we do. Therefore, the "War on Terror," is nothing less than what Bush so biblically calls "the war that will never end." Nor will, I suspect, the recent abridgements to our constitutional liberties, which were sold to us as "temporary" but "necessary measures" to fight their war.

Renowned conservative and former GOP presidential candidate, Pat Buchanan calls neoconservatism "a globalist, interventionist, open borders ideology," and says that neocons are "illegitimate interlopers in the conservative movement."

Video: Pat Buchanan on Ron Paul
Video: Pat Buchanan on McCain
Video: Pat Buchanan vs Neocons

What kind of conservative are you? I reject the Welfare/Warfare State even if it is sometimes dressed-up like a church lady. If you're not a neoconservative, but a traditional conservative, there's only one person you can vote for during this election -- Dr. Ron Paul
