Help

It’s Election Mixtape time, which means we’ve asked all the candidates for a list of their five favorite songs, in order to assemble the most wicked-awesome Election night soundtrack ever.

Two problems. I’ve only received two songs from the Murkowski campaign, and Palin left a couple of the entries open-ended. (Anything by Van Halen and something by the Black Eyed Peas were two of her answers.)

Does anyone have any suggestions for a Van Halen or B.E.P. tune for Palin (she did say “My Humps

Sarah Palin's Van Palin song

Would have to be Hot for Teacher, because she has that naughty librarian look. I brought my pencil, gimme somethin' to write on!
Murkowski gets the Laibach treatment, Tanz mit Laibach. The rathergood.com video with the Communist marching kittens.
Binkley just makes me think of John Denver songs. UAF did that to me. So how about "Thank God I'm a Country Boy."

A few options for Sarah:

Van Halen: I'll Wait; Not Enough; You're No Good;

.. or my favorite.. Girl Gone Bad

Black Eyed Peas:
Shut Up

Any classical music?

I suppose you're not looking for something like Beethoven's Fifth? Mozart's surprise symphony?

I guess I won't be much help then. Sorry!

Classical music

Danse Macabre (St.-saens) for Murkowski,
L'apprenti Sorcier (Dukas) for Binkley,
and the entire Nutcracker Suite (Tchaikovski) for Palin.
