These three girls are exchange students in local schools this year. Sponsored by AYUSA, Global Youth Exchange, they live with host families and go to class with Alaskans their age. They'll record their discoveries and adventures of their time in Alaska here.
I am from Bangladesh, a tiny yet beautiful country in Asia. I am staying with a wonderful host family and I attend classes at Wasilla High School. I am 17 years old.
I am from Lebanon, a country in the Middle East. I am living with a very nice family in Anchorage and I attend East High School. I am 16 years old.
I am from Rabat, the capital of Morocco in north west Africa. I'm staying with a host family in the Mat-Su Valley and I'm a junior in high school out there. I'm 17 years and five months old.

Senior Fun Day
Senior fun day. Wow. There is nothing as fun as spending a time with your friends doing all kind of school activities outside the school.We played, danced and won lots of gifts.

School party
Hey, Party (:. These are my friends (they are exchange student too), and there are some missing. We were in the last school party for this year, and the theme for it was space though we did not dress. The party was energetic and the thing that made it more interesting is that students from contempo dance performed some of their creative dances in the party. That was really nice frim them =).

Snow machine
Snow machining was one of the best things I have ever did. I liked it snow much. It was so much fun. And at that time was weather was beautiful and not that cold nor windy which made the day better.

Skiing
It was a very beautiful day to go skiing. We were still in winter, how ever it was not cold that much at that day. I have used the sled before, but I have never skied. It was so much fun, and I enjoyed it so much.

International friends: This was a goodbye party because one of the student was here for just one semester, we had a lot of fun but it was sad to say goodbye.

Hunting
It was my first time hunting caribou. I was so excited to experience it. I do not deny, hunting was hard, and the weather was really cold and windy. But anyways, opportunity comes one a time, and I would not miss it. Hunting was one of the best experience that I have had in Alaske.

First Day at School
This was my first day at school. I was excited for studying in my new school, but I was also worried of not finding friends in a short period of time. Any ways, after spending 7 month in this school, I can say that it is fantastic. I like every thing in it. All the faculties and students are nice. All in all, it has been a great experience.Nourhan :)

The Adventure has started: It was still in August when I went to the lake house which is 3 hours up North of Anchorage in order to pick some Blueberries to make Waffles.

Coming to America!!: It was excitng finally landing in Washinton D.C., then came the 5 hours custom wait. Friends made on the flight were headed elsewhere in the U.S.
