Ever get the feeling some days that your pet(s) are out to get you? Seems they get together and plot what they are going to do while you are gone at work. I mean face it, they have all day to scheme and concoct amongst themselves what they are going to do to make your life interesting...to say the least.
It's not like I don't have anything to do when I get off work. Right? And when you have multiple cats, they gang up on you. Okay, so I come home and they have rearranged things. They sit in the dark and lay in wait as I come in the front door so they can watch me kill myself as I step or slip on something that wasn't there that morning.
"Oh, you're having a hard time opening the door, well that because we threw all the clean laundry you had so neatly folded on top of the dryer down on the floor....oh, and by the way...you'll need to wash it all again."
In the middle of the night, they like to use my stomach or face as a springboard to get up to the window. Not a very pleasant way to wake up. If my co-workers didn't know I have cats, they would probably think I was being abused.
Then there was the time the cats learned how to turn on the hot water faucet, threw in a roll of paper towels and the toilet paper and let it run all day. I come home to a flooded house and the guilty little heathens sitting in the bathtub where they were dry.
Ever hear the saying "I know my cats are laughing at me behind my back". Well, after living with the number of cats I live with and all their antics, I believe it.
Pets definitely make life interesting to say the least.
