Kellen, left, and Cade Harris.Brothers Kellen and Cade Harris will turn 12 years old on 12/12/2012. Cade calls it their golden birthday. "The sad thing is we were born at 11:30," said Cade, who is half a minute younger than Kellen. The boys' mother, Pam Giammalva, said that the coming numerical coincidence occurred to her just before the boys were born. "Wow, this will be cool," she says she remembers thinking. Though the Harris boys share a unique birthday this month, Giammalva says they're interested in distinct things. Kellen likes hockey and other sports. Cade enjoys acting and theater. Even their birthday celebrations were held separately. Kellen had his on the family's front yard ice rink. Cade's will be at H2Oasis. "They're great friends, but they've been pretty much different from the get-go," Giammalva said. Kellen says he has no unusual plans to mark the occasion Wednesday. "Go to school," he said. Cade says he's holding out hope that he'll get twelve presents.
