Our first commenter below sent me an interesting email about treadmill training for dogs. She wants to teach dogs how to do it and video the training for use on a future web page. She's a former musher who now does, if I remember correctly, kicksled-joring. She loves it and uses treadmill training as a way to get the dogs in shape and train on lousy weather days.

And for discussion sake, what do you think of treadmill training for dogs? One of mine used it for physical therapy, and it was very helpful. But I haven't sprung for a treadmill, so the training stopped there.
