The Obamedia Back In Force

There are 13 states who have stated their intent to set up health insurance exchanges under Obamacare. California recently started the process of how to approach their version.

California has already hired 50 employees to run the program and has plans for 50 more. A giant web portal is being designed as well so citizens can sign up. Many of the uninsured will get redirected by the site to Medicaid, an expense California has already expressed concerns for covering financially.

One of the big parts of the California plan is the marketing. The state has already decided to spend $900K to retain a renowned marketing firm. That firm is already planning on using Hollywood through reality shows and plots in primetime viewing to sing the praises of the program.

The California example shows how Obamacare will grow government. It shows how significant money will be spent outside of healthcare. One of the benefactors will be Hollywood in a nice kickback for its support of Obama.

Hollywood is not the only pawn in the Obama chess game. This week it has come out that left wing mouthpiece Media Matters has been taking walking orders from the Department of Justice (DOJ). The story was broken by The Daily Caller. Imagine if a Republican administration had been caught feeding spin points to a conservative organization. The media would have already plastered it everywhere and yet only Fox has picked it up to this point. And the left wonders why people say there is a bias?

The Obama spin machine is in full force. Its tentacles reach all the way to the ADN where the official editorial recently scolded Romney for criticizing Obama over the Muslim attacks on embassies overseas.

Did Obama notice? He decided to skip a briefing, a common practice for him, and go to a fundraiser in Las Vegas. Anybody wonder if we will get a sequal to Fareinheit 911 following Obama there? Nobody in Vegas would take a bet on that.

The media is too busy running with the hidden Romney video to go after anything Obama right now. Romney is right in the video. Many of the 47% who pay no income tax are not going to vote for him. It would not be worth his effort to try and court those voters. It is the same way you will not be seeing Obama helping Jerry Prevo any Sunday soon.

Romney is also right about his comments on Israel and the Palestinians. There will be no peace until the Palestinians want peace. Right now, it is hard to see a path to that happening when the population elects an organization dedicated to the destruction of Israel in its charter.

The Romney video is a window into honesty. It is no different than when Obama accused individuals of not building their businesses or praised the redistribution of wealth. The difference is the media did everything it could to hide Obama's true colors.

Obama and Romney are not about to be honest all the time. It would require them to talk about things that could be spun in an unpopular way.

The tasteless part is the way Obama may be benefitting from government resources to provide his spin. California can help him spin it through Hollywood. And if Fox upsets his sensibilities his buddies over at DOJ can use their lackeys at Media Matters to slant the landscape.

The country cannot handle the truth. It does not want to hear the truth. The people living off the government do not want to be pointed out for their sloth. The high earners working the deduction system do not to be called out for their greed. Unions and CEOs both do not want to take responsibility. And the list could go on.

Romney had one other slip previously where he said he liked to have the ability to fire people. I had a conversation with the manager of a McDonald's recently. That manager saved a McDonald's by firing most of the people working there and replacing them with better employees. It is how the real world should work and it is something Obama and his union and lawyer friends do not want to admit.

It is not a bad thing to see honesty. If only the country could get past its need for populist pandering and political correctness.

Liberals may say now we know the real Romney. That may be true. Some of us know who the real Obama is and no amount of media protection will change that.
