Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Please meet Putu, an adult, neutered male, lab/husky mix. This well-mannered gentleman is calm, easy-going, docile and gentle. He handles great on leash, wants to please, is good-natured, attentive and friendly. A fine companion for easy walks and just spending time together. Very sweet guy who will make a wonderful family dog! Putu can be adopted for $72, as he is already neutered, which includes his MOA license, vaccinations and microchip.
