Monday was incredibly busy at UAA as students and faculty streamed back to campus to begin their fall semester.

A lot of energy and excitement precedes the start of a new school year. For the next three weeks, some of that energy will be captured in a crowd-sourced, back-to-campus blog, called 'UAA Life Hacks 2012' with a little help from my friends. Take a look at it and remember your own college days.

The campus had two art openings on Monday, Aug. 27.
'Touch Me' will be open at the Student Union Gallery through Sept. 13. It features the ceramic work of student Emily Longbrake.

The Kimura Gallery in the Fine Arts Building will host 'Consuming Conversation' by Harriete Berman through Sept. 28.
