Bear
Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Please meet Bear, a 2.5 year old, female, shepherd mix. Bear is friendly and gentle, but a little shy at first meeting. She is attentive and focused, knows commands, walks great on her leash, and really likes to please. She's lived with small children (infants and up) and did well. She enjoys playing ball, going on walks, and being with people. She also did well with the other shelter dogs in play group. Intelligent and pleasant companion! Bear can be adopted for $152, which includes her spay deposit, MOA license, vaccinations, and microchip. Call 343-8122 for more information.
