Business People announces the hire or promotion of employees to senior or mid-level professional or supervisory positions. Positions must be full-time and paid. Significant specialized training or professional certification is also announced.

R&M Consultants adds three staffers

RahoiRahoiCourtney Rahoi joined the R&M administration department as an accounting technician in September 2011. Courtney comes to R&M with five years of experience in accounting and administration. She has a notary public certification within the State of Alaska and is also CPR Certified. Rahoi is currently working towards her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

PyeattPyeattDavid Pyeatt, P.E. joined R&M’s engineering department as a senior Project Engineer within the firm’s surface transportation group. A recent relocate from Colorado, David has more than 14 years of experience in civil engineering, primarily devoted to engineering applications. He holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Pyeatt is a professional civil engineer registered in Alaska, California, Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Since joining R&M, he has worked on the Bradley Lake Battle Creek Diversion project, Ketchikan Water Street Viaduct, and Fairview Loop Road Rehabilitation.

GibbsGibbsChristine Gibbs joined R&M as a marketing coordinator. She has four years of experience in business-to-business marketing, including strategic planning, graphic design, website design and public communications. At R&M she will be responsible for proposal writing and external communications, as well as supporting the firm’s many marketing initiatives. Christine has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and public communications from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and actively participates in events with the Associated General Contractors of Alaska and the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce.
