I've been hauling out the agility equipment slowly this season, and I've been pleasantly surprised so far. Jillie finally is going over the teeter on her own, something she's struggled with over the past couple years. She really seems to enjoy it this year, and will walk across it even when not prompted.
Eddie picked up where he left off. In fact, it seems to have improved his confidence. He had been acting like an old man lately -- skipping walks, getting tired of fetching the ball, etc., but he's got a bounce in his step again now that he's doing the agility course. Makes me regret not working on it more over the winter.
I pulled Eddie out of agility competitions when he had surgery on his leg a couple years ago, so the agility we do in the yard is all in fun. But I'm honestly wondering if we should give a trial another try. He was one Q away from his novice titles in at least three disciplines -- tunnelers, jumpers and weavers. All it would take is one Q in each to get his titles. And he has at least one standard Q.
Hmmm.
What's up with your pack?
