Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Here is Moose, a 3 year old, neutered male, Lab mix. This big guy is very strong, good-natured, curious and active. He loves interacting with people and is a world-class fetch player--brings the ball back every time and drops it for you to throw again. He has lived happily with kids, a small dog, and with cats. He's kennel-trained, rides well in the car, sits nicely for treats and takes gently. He likes his exercise and his chew toys. He is currently on a special diet to correct an allergy problem. Friendly, playful and bright, he's a fine companion -- great dog for an active family! Moose can be adopted for $72, as he is already neutered, which includes his MOA license, vaccinations, and microchip. Call 343-8122 for more information.
