As if getting reigning ECHL Goaltender of the Year Gerald Coleman wasn't enough good news for the Alaska Aces today, coach Rob Murray said two other key players will return to the lineup Friday night at Ontario.
Murray today said defenseman Steve Ward and center Chris Langkow will play.
Ward has missed the last five games since taking a hit to the head in Stockton. Langkow missed the last game with an upper-body injury.
In Ward, the Aces get back a guy who plays in all situations. In Langkow, they get back their second-line pivot and a power-play contributor.
Oh, and Murray said Coleman will get the start Friday night in Ontario. As long as things go well, Murray said he'd like to start Coleman on Friday and Saturday against the Reign, and again on Tuesday at Las Vegas before giving the Wednesday start at Bakersfield to rookie James Reid.
