Former Aces Center Cox Up To AHL Bridgeport

Hey, former Alaska Aces center Ethan Cox is where all Aces-connected dudes seem to visit -- you'll be shocked to know he has landed at AHL Bridgeport Sound on a professional tryout agreement.

We know -- quite the stunner.

Cox, traded a week ago to Reading for Ryan Cruthers, becomes the seventh Aces-connected guy this season to be summoned to Bridgeport, which is coached by Brent Thompson, who guided the Aces to the Kelly Cup last season.

Still at Bridgeport are winger Scott Howes (for good, for sure) and defenseman Russ Sinkewich. Like a 2010-11 Aces reunion in that locker room most of the season.
