Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Here is Nali, a 3 year old, spayed female, German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Very active, bright, happy and full of energy, Nali loves walks, outings and playtime. She’s intelligent, attentive, focused, knows commands, and handles well on her leash. She also loves Shelter Dog Training Class and will do great with a family willing to work on more skills with her! Kennel-trained, she rides fine in the car, and has been to the dog park. She really enjoys fetch and is a world-class player, dropping the ball at your feet every time. She’s lived with children, but will be too rambunctious for small kids and is not a good mix for cats (she will chase small animals). Good-natured and affectionate, she’ll love a home that can provide lots of exercise, attention and structure. Nali can be adopted for $72, as she is already spayed, which includes her MOA license, vaccinations, and microchip. Call 343-8122 for more information.
