If Anchorage were to get a fenced dog park, would you visit it? For the sake of discussion, pretend it's in a convenient location, maybe 10 minutes from your home by car.
I truly believe that someday, Anchorage is going to have one or more. Anchorage Unleashed, the group responsible for giving us our unfenced dog parks, has continued to work on bringing us a fenced park. Location and expenses have been the setbacks.
But from my experience, I know some people don't like them. The same problems that exist in a fenced area -- you don't know who's going to show up and how well other dogs will behave -- are potential issues at fenced locations.
But my feeling is a majority of dog owners would use them if they were convenient. Would you? Why or why not?
