Two Alaskans made it to the top 10 in the 2011 edition of “America’s Got Talent,” Landon Swank of Wasilla and Anna Graceman of Juneau. Both were eliminated earlier this month in week 15.

But more Alaskans are lining up for television appearances, starting with Owen Barrington of Anchorage, 2008 Word Irish Dance Champion, who will be featured in “Michael Londra: Beyond Celtic” on Channel 7 at 7 p.m. tonight.

Michael Christensen, of Eagle River, will be part of the 9-man a cappella group Vocal Point included among the 16 all-vocal ensembles competing in “The Sing Off.” The season will premiere locally at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, on Channel 2.

Anchorage resident Lauren Dair Owens has a part in the new Fox comedy “New Girl,” the pilot for which debuts following “Glee” at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, on Channel 4. The show involves an awkward young woman, Jess, played by Zooey Deschanel, who moves in with three male roommates. According to her mother, Owens plays the part of the adolescent Jess and has filmed three episodes. Owens, a musician with a recently released CD, will be the one singing and playing the guitar.
