Norvin
Chris Terzi and Norvin will be competing in the AKC Agility Invitational that is being held in conjunction with the AKC/Eukanuba National Championships scheduled for this weekend, Dec. 4-5, in Long Beach, Calif.
As a way of acknowledging Alaskans' incredible achievements, this week the Dog Blog is introducing some of the Alaska competitors in a Q&A format.
Here's more on Chris and Norvin, a talented team who are both delighted to be leaving today's -30 temperatures of Fairbanks to compete in California this weekend.

How long have you been competing in agility? I have been competing in agility since July 2005. Alaska trials only until this November.
Always same breed? Norvin is my first agility dog -- so yes, I have only worked with this breed in agility.
Top finishes/titles/honors: We have competed in AKC events only & Norvin has achieved his Master's agility titles in both jumpers & standard events.
Best features/attributes: Norvin is a great multi-tasker in the ring, which has added challenge for me as a handler. However, he is fun to train & compete with.
First time to Eukanuba Nationals? This is our first time to be invited to the American Kennel Club Agility Invitiational.
Goals for competition? My goals are for us to have fun while completing clean runs. I look forward to watching many other breeds & their handlers.
Anything else people should know about you and your dog? We are very excited to attend this event in Long Beach, CA. It was 30 degrees below zero in Fairbanks this morning & we are looking towards some warmer weather!
