From Sean Cockerham in Anchorage --

Sounds like the Lisa Murkowski announcement that she's running is going to be coming at 6 p.m.

Murkowski campaign spokesman Steve Wackowski said the rally for Murkowski will start at 5 p.m. at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center. Murkowski herself will arrive about 5:30 p.m., having flown in from D.C.

Wackowski said there will then be speakers talking about why Murkowski should run, followed by Murkowski herself taking the podium.

I told Wackowski that sounds like she's running for sure, and he didn't object.

Joe Miller, meanwhile, has scheduled his own press conference for 6 p.m. to react to Murkowski's announcement. It will be at his Anchorage campaign headquarters.
