A convicted felon who pistol-whipped another man on the head during a fight at an Anchorage strip club was sentenced this week to 65 months in prison, according to the U.S. attorney.
Anchorage resident Terrance Marcel Davis, 25, was previously convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm, prosecutors said.
According to prosecutors, Davis got into a fight with another man at Fantasies on Fifth in the early morning hours of July 3, 2009 and struck his opponent in the head with a weapon.
Davis has a “lengthy and violent criminal history,” including convictions for felony assault, felony misconduct involving a controlled substance, failure to appear and unlawful evasion, prosecutors said.
He also has a history of fleeing police and violating his terms of bail release, they said.
