Authorities have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a South Anchorage bank robbery last month.
Jeremy Uldrich is being held at the Anchorage jail after his arrest Sunday about 4:10 p.m., police said.
Police say the vehicle Uldrich was driving, a black Toyota 4Runner, appeared to have been involved in the robbery of the Credit Union 1 at 8935 Old Seward Highway on Jan. 23.
Patrol officer Kevin Armstrong spotted the vehicle Sunday and pulled Uldrich over at 94th Avenue and the Old Seward. Armstrong noted Uldrich bore a “striking resemblance” to the robber and delivered him to the custody of the FBI, police said.
Uldrich was later charged with a federal count of bank robbery, according to the FBI.
