Case number: 09-51567

Type: DUI / MVC-D

Text: On 06-18-2009 at approximately 2110 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to a single motor vehicle collision near the intersection of
N. Green Forest Drive and Finger Cove Drive, near Palmer. Investigation
revealed James Mason Lapp, age 23 of Wasilla, was operating his 2006
Pontiac G6 southbound on N. Green Forest Drive when he lost control of
the vehicle and struck a utility pole. Further investigation revealed
that Lapp was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Lapp was
subsequently arrested for DUI and was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial
Facility where he was remanded into custody. Bail was set at $2500 and
a court approved third party custodian.

Location: Wasilla

Case number: 09-51524

Type: MVC-D

Text: On 06-18-2009 at approximately 1745 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to a motor vehicle collision at mile 34.5 of the Glenn
Highway, near Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Sarah Burns, age 37
of Wasilla, was operating her 2004 GMC Sierra northbound on the Glenn
Highway when she improperly changed lanes, causing a collision with a
2008 Subaru Forester, being operated by Jonathan Miller, age 25 of
Wasilla. Burns was issued a citation for Failure to Exercise Due Care
to Avoid a Collision. Damage to both cars was estimated at $1000. Both
drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the collision and no
injuries were reported. Alcohol was not a factor in the collision.

Text: On 6/18/09 at approximately 1946 hours, Alaska State Troopers
arrested Debbie Hildebrand, 49 of Wasilla, for DUI. Hildebrand was
transported and remanded to MSPT with a set bail of $500. She was
originally contacted after her vehicle was reported to have gone into
the ditch.

Type: Probation Violation
Text: On 6/18/09 at approximately 2343 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to Schrock Road and Kurtis Road Wasilla for a disturbance.
Investigation revealed that 28 YOA Jason K. Wilde of Wasilla had been
drinking alcohol in violation of his probation. Wilde was arrested and
transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was remanded for a probation
violation and held without bail.

Type: Burglary I, Theft II
Text: On 6/18/09 at approximately 1807 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded Vale Ave. Wasilla for a reported burglary. Investigation
revealed that the suspect(s) entered the residence and stole three
firearms (CZ model 83 9mm, 308 Remington model 700, and AR style rifle
with a Spikes Tactical lower and a Stag Arms 6.8 SPC upper with
collapsible butt stock), prescription drugs, and misc electronics.

Text: On 6/18/09 at approximately 2220 hours, Alaska State Troopers
stopped a yellow 2002 Ford Ranger at Parks Hwy and Vine Road for a
report of reckless driving. Investigation revealed that 26 YOA Daniel
E. Wustenberg of Palmer had been driving recklessly on the Parks Hwy.
Wuestenberg was issued a summons for Reckless Driving.

stopped a silver 2009 Ford Mustang at Parks Hwy and Vine Road for a
report of reckless driving. Investigation revealed that 31 YOA William
J. Sorensen of Anchorage had been driving recklessly on the Parks Hwy.

Type: False Report

Text: On 6-19-09 at approximately 0500 hours, Jeremy Pooley contacted
the Alaska State Troopers to report his vehicle had been damaged while
parked in his driveway in Sutton. Investigation revealed a male occupant
of the residence identified as Darien Lindgreen age 18 of Sutton damaged
the vehicle, concealed the evidence and then made a false report to
Troopers. Lindgreen was charged with Making a False Report and released.

Type: Warrant Arrest

Text: On 6-19-09 at approximately 0500 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to Sutton for the report of a damaged vehicle. Troopers
contacted Jeremy D. Pooley age 30 of Sutton, during the investigation.
Poole was found to have two outstanding warrants for his arrest. Both
warrants were for failure to appear in the Anchorage court on separate
charges of driving without insurance. Pooley was arrested and remanded
to Mat-Su Pretrial were he was held on $1,000.00 bail.

Type: Warrant Arrest
Text: At 0120 hours, Palmer AST contacted Darren Enoch, age 21 of
Wasilla after the vehicle he was driving was stopped for a moving
violation near the intersection of Seldon Rd. and Ravens Flight in
Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Enoch had a warrant for his arrest
in the amount of $500, for failure to comply with terms of probation on
the original charge of assault 4. Enoch was remanded into the custody of
MSPT where he was held on $500 bail.

Type: Minor Consuming Alcohol
Text: On 6/19/2009, approx. 0300 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a
gray 2000 Dodge Stratus near mile 1.5 Kink Goose Bay Road in Wasilla for
a moving violation. Investigation revealed 5 occupants of the vehicle,
two 17 year old males of Palmer, one 16 year old female of Palmer, one
15 year old female of Palmer, and one 13 year old female of Palmer, were
intoxicated. Each minor was issued one criminal citation for Minor
Consuming Alcohol and released to an adult at the scene.

Case number: 09-51684
Type: Driving Under the Influence, Improper use of Registration, Warrant
Arrest
Text: On 6/19/09 at approximately 0855 hours, Talkeetna AST responded to
Talkeetna for a report of a disturbance. AST contacted Richard Holt
III, 21 of Talkeetna, in the suspect vehicle in East Talkeetna.
Subsequent investigation revealed that Holt was driving under the
influence of alcohol and the car that he was operating, a 1996 Toyota
Camry, had the wrong registration on the vehicle. Investigation also
revealed that Holt had an APD $1,000.00 warrant for his arrest for
Failure to Appear on an original charge of theft. Holt was arrested and
transported to MSPT where he was held on $2,500.00 for the DUI and
Improper use of Registration and the $1,000.00 warrant.

Type: Death Investigation
Text: On 6/18/09 at approximately 1040 hours, Talkeetna AST responded to
a residence in Willow for a report of an expected home death.
Investigation revealed that Jack Wood, 71 of Willow, had died at his
residence of natural causes. Wood's remains were released to his family
who was present when he passed away.

Case Number: 09-51810

Type: MVC-I

Text: On 06/19/2009 at approximately 1428 hours, Alaska State Troopers
received a report of a two vehicle collision on Johnson Road near the
Parks Highway in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Deborah Weissert, age
46, of Wasilla, was operating her red 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt northbound
on Johnson Road approaching the Fisher's Fuel gas station. Jonathan
Perry, age 26, of North Pole, was operating a blue 1984 Nissan pick-up.
Perry failed to yield to Weissert's vehicle and pulled onto Johnson Road
from the Fisher's Fuel parking resulting in a collision. Weissert and
Perry sustained minor injuries; Weissert was transported to Mat-Su
Regional Medical Center by EMS. Both vehicles sustained an estimated
$5,000.00 in damage. Perry was cited for failure to yield when entering
roadway from non-roadway.

Type: Felony Arrest Warrant

Text: On 6/19/2009 at 0941 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a
vehicle at mile 34 of the Glenn Highway for being reported as a REDDI
vehicle by a private citizen. Investigation revealed Crystal Ann
Williams, age 35 of Anchorage was operating a 2003 brown GMC pick up
truck with a suspended driver's license. Williams was subsequently
arrested for Driving While License Suspended, and a $5,000.00
outstanding felony arrest warrant for failure to appear in court for the
original charge of MICS IV/Prostitution I. Williams was transported to
and remanded in MSPT with her bail set at $5,000.00.

Case number: 09-50566

Type: Burglary I, Theft II

Text: On 6/16/09, at 0820 hours, Kotzebue AST received a report of a
home burglary in the village of Noorvik. Sometime between the late
evening hours of 6/13 and the early morning hours of 6/14/09, person(s)
unknown entered through a broken window of the residence and stole a
rifle and ammunition. Troopers responded to the village on 6/18/09 and
after conducting an investigation identified four juveniles as the
individuals who had broken into the residence and stolen the rifle. The
rifle was recovered. Case report will be forwarded to Juvenile intake
for review.

Type: Attempted burglary 2

Text: On 6/17/09, State Troopers from Kotzebue were in the village of
Selawik when they received a report of an attempted burglary at the
Selawik Native store which occurred on 6/12/09. State Troopers have
identified the suspects and are continuing to investigate the matter.

Type: Assault in the Fourth Degree

Text: On 6-18-09 at 1318 hours an assault in Kalskag was reported to the
Aniak State Troopers. The victims did not require medical attention. The
suspect had left the village by boat before Troopers arrived. Alcohol
was involved. The investigation continues.

Type: Warrant Arrest

Text: On 6/18/09, 20 year old Leslie Sampson Jr. of Noorvik was arrested
on an outstanding arrest warrant for Minor Consuming Alcohol 1st
offense. Sampson was remanded at the Noorvik Public Safety office and a
telephonic arraignment was conducted with the Kotzebue court. After the
arraignment was conducted, Sampson was released by the court.

Type: Burglary II

Text: On 06-18-2009 at approximately 0131hrs United States Coast Guard
(USCG) Military Police responded to an alarm at the Pro Shop for the
USCG Integrated Support Command (ISC) Golf Course on Anotne Larsen Road.
Investigation determined a minimum amount of stock was taken. Several
windows and display cases were broken. Anyone with information
concerning this burglary should contact Alaska State Troopers at 907

Text: On 6/18/09, 29 year old Rena E. Cleveland of Noorvik was arrested

Jail and remanded on $500.00 bail.

Text: On 6/18/09, 19 year old Jeff Melton Jr. of Noorvik was arrested on

arraignment was conducted, Melton was released by the court.

Type: Resisting Arrest, Harassment I, Probation Violation

Text: On 6/10/09 at about 1023 hours, Gambell VPOs received a request
for assistance at a Gambell residence. Amos Slwooko, age 25 of Gambell,
was arrested for Resisting Arrest, Harassment I and probation violation.
Slwooko was telephonically arraigned, due to weather, then transported
to Nome and lodged at Anvil Mountain Correctional Center.

Type: Assault 3rd Degree DV

Text: On June 19, 2009 at 1110 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Bethel
conducted an investigation into an alleged assault in the village of
Kipnuk. Investigation revealed that Roderick PAUL, 23, of Kipnuk
assaulted a female with an Ulu knife. With the assistance of Kipnuk PD,
Rockerick was arrested and transported to Bethel and remanded to YKCC.
Alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the case.

Text: On June 17, 2009, at 2223 hours, Kipnuk PD conducted an
investigation in to an assault of a 15 month old child. The
investigation revealed that Erma MESAK, 19, of Kipnuk assaulted two
family members. Minor injuries were sustained to both victims. MESAK was
arrested and transported to Bethel and remanded to YKCC. Alcohol was not
a factor in the case.

Type: Vehicle Abandonment

Text: On 06-19-09, Trooper requested a criminal summons for Robert
ERICK, 26 of Fairbanks, for abandoning a 1995 Mazda passenger vehicle
near mile 174 of the Parks Highway. The event started in September 2008
when ERICK broke down and failed to promptly remove the vehicle. ERICK
has been given ample opportunity to remove the vehicle. He faces
misdemeanor charges for his conduct. Investigation complete.

Case Number: 09-45659

Type: Search Warrant

Text: On 6-18-09 at 0805 hours the Alaska Bureau of Alcohol and Drug
Enforcement served a search warrant at a residence on Mercer Ave in
Fairbanks. Members of the Fairbanks Police Tactical Unit assisted by
members of the Alaska State Trooper Special Emergency Reaction Team
executed the three search warrants and secured the residence and
adjoining lots for ABADE. Martin Avery, age 52 of Fairbanks and a male
juvenile, age 17 of Fairbanks were taken into custody on Misconduct
Involving a Controlled Substance charges. The search warrants were
executed without incident. Additional charges are pending on the
occupants of he residence and the investigation is on going.

Type: Arrest Warrant Service

Text: On 06-19-09 at approximately 1000 hours, Troopers arrested Damian
FALLANG, a 27 year old transient employee of Denali, for an outstanding
arrest warrant. The warrant was issued because FALLANG failed to comply
with requirements imposed on him for the original offense of Theft in
the Third Degree. FALLANG was transported to the Fairbanks Correctional
Center. Investigation complete.

Type: Death Investigation

Text: On 6-19-09 at approximately 1015 hours, AST located a 2000
Chevrolet van parked off the road near mile 282 of the Richardson
Highway. AST located Bruce C. Marden 48, of Delta Junction deceased
inside the vehicle. AST investigation determined Marden died from
suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. No foul play is suspected. The
Fairbanks Funeral Home was contacted and next of kin have been notified.

Text: On 06-13-09, at approximately 2234 hours, Alaska State Troopers
stopped a vehicle for speeding near mile 92.5 of the Sterling Hwy. A
passenger in the vehicle, Dana Cherie Moore, age 22 of Anchorage, was
issued a summons to appear in the District Court at Kenai for possession
of marijuana.

Location: Mile 16 Kenai Spur Highway

Case number: 09-51632

Type: DUI

Text: On 6-19-2009 at 0236, Soldotna based AST conducted a traffic stop
on a 1999 Ford Taurus for erratic driving at mile 16 Kenai Spur Highway.
An investigation reveled the driver, Erma L. Bailey, 40 of Nikiski, was
driving under the influence of alcohol. Bailey failed field sobriety
tests and was arrested for DUI. Bailey was remanded to WWPT on one
count of DUI, where she was held in lieu of $500 bail.

Text: On 6-18-09, Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted 20 year old Eric
Bell from Anchorage while he was fishing on the Kenai River.
Investigation revealed Bell had taken more than the bag limit of Sockeye
Salmon and had snagged one of the fish. Bell was issued two summonses;
one for failure to release a fish hooked other than in the mouth and the
other for taking over the bag limit of Sockeye Salmon. Bail was set at
$260.00.

sexually abused for four years; between the ages of 13 and 17.=A0 The
female alleged that two family members had sexually abused her in Palmer
and in Chugiak.=A0 Investigation revealed that 30 year old Joshua Peter
Mead and 27 year old Shannon Rose Mead, both of Chugiak sexually abused
the family member.=A0On 6-18-09 Joshua and Shannon Mead were taken into
custody and each charged with 5 counts of SAM II and 1 count of SAM III.
Shannon was also charged with Incest.=A0The Meads were remanded to Matsu
Pretrial.

Highway Patrol South Central Team stopped a 1997 Chevy pickup for
speeding at mile 106 Glenn Highway. Investigation revealed that the
driver, identified as Aaron Johns ( 39 YOA of Anchorage) was driving
while his license was revoked. Johns was issued a summons for driving
with a revoked license and released on scene.
