Juneau police seek burglary suspect

A man wanted on probation warrants and for allegedly burglarizing a home in Juneau is being sought by police. Juneau police shipped out the below press release today.

On 06-15-09 at about 1355 hours, JPD received a report from the 4000 block of Taku Blvd of a burglary in progress. The complainant was a neighbor that saw an
adult male carrying items from the residence and putting them into a vehicle that was parked in the driveway and garage.

Through investigation and interviews, it was determined that forcible entry was made into the residence and various undisclosed items were taken. The witness was able to describe the vehicle and subjects involved. The homeowner was not home at the time of the theft.

A short time later, a police officer in an un-marked vehicle saw the vehicle traveling on Glacier Hwy near the 8000 block. Officers located the vehicle near Trout St. and
through subsequent investigation, were able to recover items stolen from the residential burglary at a different residence in the Lemon Creek area. Officers have identified two persons of interest and are looking for a third person of interest, 20 year old Juneau resident Brendan Doyle. Doyle currently has a $5,000 Alaska State
Trooper warrant for probation violations.

This case remains under investigation and if anyone has information of Doyle’s whereabouts, they are encouraged to contact the Juneau Police Dept at 586-0600 or Crime Line at 586-4243.

Doyle is a white male, about 5’10” tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes and short brown hair.
