Case Number: 09-48767

Type: Felony DUI, DWLR

Text: At approximately 2:04 PM on June 11, 2009, Troopers received a
report of an individual that appeared intoxicated leaving a local
store, getting into a green 2000 Toyota RAV4 sports utility vehicle,
and driving towards the city of Hydaburg. Troopers conducted a traffic
stop on the vehicle on the Klawock Hollis highway and determined that
the driver was intoxicated. Forris S. Bess, age 37, was subsequently
arrested on charges of Felony Driving Under the Influence and Driving
While License Revoked. Mr. Bess was housed at the Craig Jail Facility.

Type: Warrant Arrest & Misconduct Involving Weapons in the Fifth Degree
Text: On 6/12/2009, approx. 0020 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a
silver 2005 Dodge pick up truck in the parking lot of Mug Shot Saloon in
Wasilla for moving and equipment violations. Investigation revealed the
passenger, Sheena M. Davison, age 26 of Wasilla, had one outstanding
$500.00 arrest warrant for Failure to Appear at Arraignment on the
original charge of Permitting a Unauthorized Person to Drive. Davison
was also in possession of a prohibited weapon which she failed to
declare upon contact with AST. Davison was arrested and transported to
MSPT where she was held on $1,500.00 bail for the warrant and MIW 5.

Type: Vehicle Theft
Text: On 6/11/09 at approximately 2017 hours, Alaska State Troopers
received a report that a 2000 Yamaha YZ125 was stolen from a residence
off of N. Caprice Drive Wasilla. Anyone with any information concerning

Case number: 09-48837

Type: MVC-I

Text: On 06/11/09, at approximately 1852 hours, AST responded to mile
9.5 of Palmer Fishhook Road for a reported motor vehicle collision with
injuries. Investigation revealed Bernard W. Brown Jr, age 58 of Palmer,
was traveling southbound on the Palmer Fishhook Road, on a 2003 Yamaha
motorcycle, at about 45 mph when he got to far over on the right side of
the road, lost control and laid the motorcycle down. Brown's passenger,
Lori Lacy, age 42 of Wasilla, was transported to the Mat-Su Regional
Hospital with a possible broken leg. Both riders were wearing helmets.
No citations were issued and damage to the motorcycle was estimated at
$1500.

Text: On 6/12/2009 at approximately 0518 hours, Alaska State Troopers
received a report of a home death located in Palmer. Investigation
revealed Margaret McCoy (79 yoa of Palmer) died at her residence of
natural causes. Next of Kin was with Mccoy when she died. No foul play
is suspected and the body has been released to the family.

Type: MVC-Damage
Text: On 6/12/2009, approx. 0055 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded
to mile 0.4 Victory Drive near mile 94.5 Glenn Highway near Cascade for
a reported single vehicle collision. Investigation revealed Warren J.
McCorkell, age 52 of Wasilla, was driving east on Victory Drive in a
white 2008 Ford F-250 pick up truck when he fell asleep and drove off
the road. No injuries were sustained, no citations were issued, and the
vehicle sustained approx. $10,000.00 damage.

Type: Criminal Mischief
Text: On 6/12/2009, approx. 0437 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded
to a location along the Palmer Wasilla Highway near E. Meridian Loop to
investigate a reported damaged vehicle. Investigation revealed that
between the hours of 2230 on 6/11/2009 and 0400 hours on 6/12/2009,
unknown suspect(s) caused estimated $10,000.00 damages to four separate
vehicles and one nearby business structure. All damage was located
along the Palmer Wasilla Highway between E. Meridian Loop (near
Schwabenhof) and Luke Street (near the Go-Kart track) in Wasilla. This
case is still under investigation and anyone with any information
concerning this investigation is strongly encouraged to contact the

Type: Assault IV (X's 2) D.V. & Interfering with the report of a D.V.
Text: On 6-12-09 Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Sasbo
Bluff, Wasilla following a report of a domestic disturbance.
Investigation revealed Ester L. Shively, age 38 of Wasilla assaulted two
family members and interfered with the report of the domestic violence.
Shively was arrested for Assault IV (X's 2) D.V. and one count of
Interfering with the Report of a D.V. Shively was remanded to the
Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility and held without bail.

Text: On 6-12-09 at approximately 0213 hours Alaska State Troopers
received the report of a disturbance at a residence on Sheridan Circle
in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Andrew J. Remiorz, age 23 of
Wasilla, had assaulted a family member. Remiorz was arrested for
Assault 4 and transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial where he was remanded into
custody and held without bail.

Type: Attempted Burglary and Criminal Mischief
Text: On 6/12/2009, approx. 0555 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded
to Bullwinkle's Espresso coffee stand on the Palmer Wasilla Highway near
Westside Drive in Palmer for a reported commercial burglary.
Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) attempted forced entry into
the coffee stand sometime between the hours of 1900 on 6/11/2009 and
0555 on 6/12/2009, causing estimated $600.00 damages. Nothing was
reported stolen. This case is still under investigation and anyone with

Type: Vehicle Theft I

Text: On 06/12/2009 at approximately 1039 hours, Alaska State Troopers
received a report of a vehicle theft from a property on N. Lewis Road in
Wasilla. Investigation revealed that sometime between 05/19/2009 and
06/05/2009 a skiff with attached outboard was taken from the shore of
Seymour Lake in Wasilla. This case is under investigation and anyone
with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Alaska

Type: Death Investigation - Natural Causes
Text: On 6-12-2009 at approximately 1130 hours, AST responded to a
residence on Witez Li Lane in Palmer, for a report of a deceased male.
Investigation revealed that Pete Lambert, age 81 of Palmer, died of
natural causes. The SME was contacted and released the body to Kehl's
Mortuary in Palmer. Next of kin was on scene, and no foul play is
suspected.

Type: Expected Death - Natural Causes

Text: On 6/11/09, State Troopers in Kotzebue were notified that Charles
E. Brown, 68 yoa, of Deering had passed away from natural causes. At
the time of his death his family was present. No foul play was
suspected and his remains were released to his family for burial.

Text: On 6/12/09, at 0150 hours, State Troopers in Kotzebue received a
report of a fight between two brothers at a local residence that
occurred earlier that evening. State Troopers have identified those
involved and are continuing to investigate the matter. Alcohol was
involved with this incident.

Type: Expected Natural Death

Text: On 6/12/09, Unalakleet AST received a report of a death in the
village of Stebbins. Investigation revealed that Austin Matthias, age
83 of Stebbins had passed away. It was discovered that Matthias was
suffering from multiple medical issues. His body was released to family
for burial.

Type: Assault 3rd Degree

Text: On June 11, 2009, Alaska State Troopers from the Bethel Post
responded to an assault in Tununak. Investigation revealed that Rita
AGIMUK, 21 years old, swung at a family member with a pair if scissors,
cutting the individual. The injury to the family member was minor.
AGIMUK was transported to Bethel and remanded to YKCC on one count of
Assault in the 3rd Degree. Alcohol was not a factor in the incident.

Text: On June 12, 2009, VPSO John Pleasant responded to an assault in
Lower Kalskag. Investigation revealed that Ray Steeves, 26 years old of
Kalskag assaulted his girlfriend. Steeves was arrested and transported
to Bethel and remanded to YKCC on one count of Assault in the IV degree.

Type: Criminal Mischief III

Text: On 6-11-09, at approximately 2000 hours, Alaska State Troopers
received a report that a home in McGrath had been vandalized.
Investigation revealed that two homes located on Kuskokwim Street
received significant damage, mostly from windows being broken out. The
Alaska State Troopers are conducting an investigation. Anyone with
information about the crimes is asked to contact the McGrath State
Troopers at 524-3052.

Type: Violation of Release Conditions

Text: On 6/12/09, Dillingham- based Alaska State Troopers contacted
William J. Pauk, age 44 of Manokotak, in Dillingham to serve him a
summons to appear in court. Pauk was intoxicated at the time and
investigation showed he was on court ordered release conditions not to
consume alcohol. Pauk's original charge was DUI. Pauk was arrested and
remanded to the Dillingham Jail pending arraignment.

Type: Assault

Text: On 6/10/09, Dillingham-based Alaska State Troopers responded to
Clarks Point for a reported domestic assault. Alleged victims and
witnesses failed to corroborate the complainant's report. Investigation

Type: Assault/MIW/Probation Violation

Text: On 6/12/09, Unalakleet AST received a report of an assault in
the village of Stebbins. Investigation revealed that Kenny Washington,
age 31 of Stebbins, had handled a rifle while being intoxicated and
pointed it at two people, one being a VPO. Washington was arrested for
two counts of Assault in the Third Degree and Misconduct Involving a
Weapon in the Fourth Degree and transported to Nome. Gregory Mike, age
38 of Stebbins was found to be intoxicated in violation of his probation
and he was also arrested and transported to Nome for the Probation
Violation.

Type: Criminal Trespass in the First Degree / Theft in the Third Degree
/ Violation of Conditions of Release

Text: On 06-11-09 at approximately 1015 hours, Troopers learned that
Benjamin DENUPTIIS, 27 of Denali, had repeatedly trespassed on Aramark
property, taken less than $500 in services available only to employees,
and violated conditions of release for a assault charge. The
investigation terminated with DENUPTIIS' arrest. He was taken to the
Fairbanks Correctional Center. Investigation complete.

Type: Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree / Drive While License
Suspended

Text: On 06-12-09 at approximately 0655 hours, Trooper saw Jacob TERRY,
29 a transient resident of Healy, trespassing at Department of Motor
Vehicle property. Additional computer research revealed that TERRY had
a suspended license during a 05-21-09 traffic contact in Healy. TERRY
was arrested and transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

Location: Nikiski

Case Number: 09-48616

Type: MCC-I/Driving in violation of instruction permit/allowing
unauthorized person to drive

Text: on 6/11/09 at 0702 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a
single vehicle collision at mile 1 of South miller Loop in Nikiski.
Investigation revealed Theodore W. Armstrong, 17, of Nikiski, was
driving a 1993 Dodge Caravan when he fell asleep, crossed the oncoming
lane of travel and collided with the ditch. He was transported by
Nikiski CES to Central Peninsula Hospital with minor injuries. T.
Armstrong was wearing his seatbelt and the airbag deployed. Damage to
the vehicle is estimated at $3,500. Further revealed T. Armstrong was
driving in violation of his Instructional Permit and his father, Ellis
Wade Armstrong Jr., 51, of Nikiski, had allowed him to drive alone.
Theodore Armstrong was issued a summons for Driving in Violation of an
Instructional Permit and cited for Negligent Driving. Ellis Armstrong
was issued a summons for allowing an unauthorized person to drive.

near Talkeetna. Investigation revealed Padie was sport fishing for king
salmon without a license and a king stamp. Padie was issued two
citations with bail set at $330.

Illegal Methods
Text: On 6/11/09, Glenda C. Martin (54 yoa), Donald P. Martin (66 yoa),
and David B. Knafel (50 yoa) all of Seward AK, were charged by the
Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Seward Post, for taking 65 Sockeye Salmon from
the closed waters of Bear Creek. Multiple charges were filed on each
participant with arraignments in the Seward District Court.

Location: Manokotak

Case Number: 09-47571

Type: Manufacturing Homebrew in a Local Option Area

Text: This case is a combined effort between the Manokotak VPSO,
Dillingham AST, and the Dillingham WAANT Unit. On 6-10-09 a search
warrant was served at a residence in Manokotak, a local option
community. About three gallons of homebrewed alcoholic beverages were
seized, as well as the equipment used to manufacture it. A 43 year old
Manokotak resident is being charged with the class C felony offense of
License or Permit Required, for the act of manufacturing alcoholic
beverages in a local option area.

Type: DWLS
Text: On 6-11-09 at 1605 hours the Alaska State Troopers Bureau of
Highway Patrol, south central team stopped a 1989 Ford Bronco on Meadow
Lakes Loop and Pittman Road after the driver was observed not wearing
his seatbelt. Investigation revealed that the driver Isaiah Keel (28
YOA of Wasilla) was driving while his license was suspended. Keel was
issued a summons for driving while license suspended and a citation for

Text: On 6/11/2009 at approximately 1759 hours the AST Bureau of
Highway Patrol, South Central Team stopped a vehicle near the Parks
Highway at Pittman Dr. following a REDDI report. The operator was
identified as Sharon Dooley, age 22, of Anchorage. Dooley was found to
be operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and
without a valid driver's license and was issued a arrested for DUI and
NVOL. Dooley was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where bail
was set at $1250.
