Type: Assault III, DUI, MIW IV

Text: At approximately 7:12 AM on June 4, 2009, Troopers received a
report of an individual driving under the influence in the village of
Hydaburg and that there had been shots fired. Troopers responded to
investigate and subsequently arrested James P. Washington, age 20, on
charges of Assault in the Third Degree, Driving Under the Influence and
Misconduct involving Weapons in the Fourth degree. Mr. Washington was
housed at the Craig Jail Facility.

Type: Assault in the Second Degree-DV
Text: On 06/04/2009 at approximately 2234 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to a domestic disturbance at an address near Vermillon Drive
in Palmer. Investigation revealed during a verbal argument, Tinasha Q.
Peterson-Wallize, age 30, of Palmer, threw a knife at her spouse. The
knife struck the male in the shoulder causing physical injury. She was
subsequently arrested for Assault in the Second Degree and was
transported to Mat-Su Pre-trial where she was remanded without bail.

Case number: 09-46366
Type: DUI-Drugs, DWLR, and Permitting and Unauthorized Person to Drive
Text: On 6/5/2009, approx. 0135 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a
black 2002 Ford Escort on Fireweed near Fairview Loop in Wasilla for an
equipment violations. Investigation revealed the driver, Nicholas G.
Perkins age 18 of Palmer, was operating the vehicle while impaired and
with his AK O/L revoked. Investigation also revealed the passenger and
owner of the vehicle, Samantha N. Meyer age 18 of Palmer, allowed
Perkins to drive her vehicle while his O/L is revoked. Perkins was
arrested at the scene and transported to MSPT where he was held on
$2500.00 bail with a court appointed third party required. Meyer was
cited at the scene; she and the vehicle were released to a licensed
driver.

Type: DUI
Text: On 06/04/2009 at 2349 hours, Palmer AST contacted Robert Brush ,
age 55, of Wasilla, after the vehicle he was driving was stopped for a
moving violation near mile 33 of the Glenn Highway. Investigation
revealed that Brush was operating a motor vehicle while impaired and
under the influence of alcohol. Brush was arrested and transported to
MSPT where he was held on $500 unsecured bail.

Type: DUI / DWLR / Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st x 2

Text: On 6-5-09 at approximately 0430 hours, Alaska State Troopers
stopped a vehicle near Potter Dr. in Wasilla after it was reported as a
REDDI. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Tracy Allison age 39
of Wasilla. Allison was found to be operating the vehicle with 2 minor
children in it while impaired and under the influence of alcohol and
with a revoked drivers license. Allison was arrested on scene and
remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial were she was held on $5,000.00 bail with a
court approved third party.

Type: Warrant Arrest
Text: On 06/05/2009 at approximately 0920 hours, Alaska State Troopers
arrested Max Mclinn, age 47, of Wasilla, for an outstanding arrest
warrant. Mclinn's warrant was for failure to appear to an ASAP hearing
with original charges of DUI and Driving While License Suspended.
Mclinn was located and arrested at his residence on Phenix Road in
Wasilla. Mclinn Was remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trail with no bail.

Type: Violation of a Domestic Violence Protective Order
Text: On 06-05-09 at approximately 1405 hours, Alaska State Troopers
arrested Grover Timothy Neely age 54 of Wasilla. Troopers responded to
the report of a disturbance in the Palmer courtroom, Judicial District
III, Palmer. Investigation revealed Neely was in violation of a
domestic violence protective order when, during a court proceeding
involving domestic violence, he communicated to the victim and continued
to do so even after being admonished and advised by the presiding judge
to cease speaking and stop interrupting the proceeding. Neely was
arrested for Violating a Domestic Violence Protective Order and was
immediately remanded into custody at MSPT on $1000.00 bail set by the
presiding judge.

Type: Warrant Arrest / (DV) Assault 1
Text: On 6/5/2009 at 1730 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Mat
Su Behavioral Health Center in Wasilla for a welfare check on Tamara
Robertson (31 yoa of Wasilla). During the investigation a warrant was
obtained for Robertson's arrest on charges of Reckless Endangerment and
Reckless Driving stemming from a collision that occurred on 5/29/2009.
Robertson was transported to the Mat-Su Pre Trial Facility. Bail was
set at $15,000 Cash Only and CATP. In addition to the warrant arrest
Robertson was also remanded on a charge of Assault 1 (DV) and held
pending her arraignment.

Type: DV, Assault 4th
Text: On 6/3/09, at 2245 hours, AST Dillingham received a report of a
domestic assault after the fact in Perryville. Due to poor weather
conditions, AST was unable to respond that night or the following day,
but the suspect and victim where contacted over the telephone. They
agreed to stay at separate locations and the victim reported that they
were safe. AST assisted the victim in obtaining a restraining order
over the telephone. AST will respond and continue the investigation as
soon as the weather clears.

Type: Burglary and Theft
Text: On 6/3/09 at 2205 hours, AST Dillingham received a report of a
burglary in Egegik. Kristina Fisher, age 34, of Eagle River, reported
that her cabin and her father's cabin, at their family set-net fishing
camp on the Egegik River, had been broken into sometime between July
2008 and June 2009. Several thousands dollars in fishing equipment,
tools and food were stolen from inside the cabins. The incident is
under investigation by AST.

Text: On June 3, 2009 at 10:30am, Alaska State Troopers arrested 24 year
old Cameron Ivon of Kongiganak for a probation violation. Alcohol is a

Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center.

Text: On 6-5-09 at 0913 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a
report of a disturbance in Gambell. Subsequent investigation led to the
arrest of Brendan Oseuk, 34 of Gambell, for Probation Violation and
Disorderly Conduct. Oseuk was remanded to the Anvil Mountain
Correctional Center.

Type: Drive Without a Valid License

Text: On 06-04-09 at approximately 1600 hours, Troopers contacted Ian
CHERICO, 26 of Anchorage, for a traffic infraction near mile 226 of the
Parks Highway. Investigation revealed that CHERICO did not have a
driver's license in any of the fifty United States. Troopers issued him
a criminal summons for Driving Without a Valid License and citations. A
licensed driver took possession of the vehicle. Investigation complete.

Case number: 09-39176 - UPDATE

Type: Deceptive Business Practices

Text: On 06-04-09 at approximately 0953 hours, Troopers contacted Martin
RATHBUN, 36 of Chugiak, near mile 230 of the Parks Highway because he
was the suspect in a deceptive business practices investigation from
05-15-09. Investigation revealed that RATHBUN was responsible for
incidents on 05-15-09 in Healy where he offered for sale consumable beef
at a lower price and better quality than was delivered to local
residents. RATHBUN was issued a criminal summons for Deceptive Business
Practices with a court date in Healy of 06-29-09. Investigation
complete.

Case number: 09-46345

Type: Missing Person

Text: On 6/4/09 at approximately 2033 hours, the Fairbanks Police
Department received a report that Erin E. Richgels, 28 YOA of Fairbanks,
was missing since 6/3/09 but had been planning a hiking trip somewhere
in the Fairbanks area. FPD later received information that Richgels'
vehicle was found parked near the trail head at Granite Tors Trail,
located at approximately 39 mile Chena Hot Springs Rd., Fairbanks, by
friends. Alaska State Troopers assumed the investigation and
coordinated a search of the area. 9 of Richgels' friends assembled at
the trail head, divided into 2 groups and began to search the Granite
Tors trail by foot. One group returned with no success with locating
Richgels. The second group is still searching the trail. AST is
awaiting the return of the second group with results of their search
prior to implementing any advanced searches. Richgels was reportedly a
very athletically fit individual with no known medical concerns. Search
efforts are ongoing.

Type: Assault III DV, Reckless Endangerment, DUI, DWLR, Refusal, and
VCOR
Text: On 6/4/09 at 2314 hours, Soldotna AST responded to Mile 97 of the
Sterling Highway for a report of a vehicle that had gone into the ditch
and the two occupants of the vehicle were fighting. Subsequent
investigation found Lanny Perrill, age 21 of Soldotna, was receiving a
ride home from his sister, when he became angry and grabbed the steering
wheel and forced the vehicle into the west side ditch. Further
investigation resulted in Perrill being remanded to Wildwood Pretrial
facility on charges of Assault III, Reckless Endangerment, DUI, DWLR,
Refusal, and VCOR. Perrill was held without bail pending arraignments.

Type: NVOL; No Insurance

Text: On 06-02-09, at approximately 0113 hours, Eli Wilson Darien Jr.,
age 47 of Nikiski, was stopped by Alaska State Troopers for a traffic
violation and was subsequently arrested for driving without a valid
operator's license and driving without insurance. Darien was remanded
at Wildwood with a $1000 bail.

Text: On 06-02-09, at approximately 0300 hours, Suzanne Lynn Miller, age
40 of Nikiski, was arrested by Alaska State Troopers for a $250 arrest
warrant for failure to appear for trial call related to an original
charge of Driving while License Suspended. Miller was contacted at her
residence during an unrelated investigation. Miller was remanded at
Wildwood with a $250 bail.

Text: On 06-04-09, at approximately 2256 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to mile 105 of the Sterling Hwy to investigate the report of
an intoxicated male who had been dropped off in someone's driveway.
Brileon Wade Garrett, age 40 of Soldotna, was subsequently arrested for
possession marijuana and remanded at Wildwood with a $250 bail.

Type: Burglary 1st, Criminal Mischief 3rd

Text: On 6/4/09, at 1336 hours, Troopers received a report of a break in
at a summer residence in Cooper Landing. An investigation showed that
sometime between 6/3/09 and 6/4/09 unknown person(s) forced entry into
the residence. It is unknown if anything is missing at this time and
damage to the residence is estimated at several thousand dollars.

Type: Assault 4th

Text: On 6/4/09, at 1810 hours, Troopers received a report of an assault
that had occurred at Spring Creek Correctional Center in Seward. An
investigation showed that two inmates had argued and one of the inmates
had assaulted the other during the argument. The investigation is
ongoing.

Type: Felony DUI, DWLR X2, Drive in Violation of a Drivers License
Limitation X2, Leaving the Scene of a Crash, Failing to Report a Vehicle
Crash

Text: On 6/4/09, at 2135 hours, Troopers stopped a vehicle near mile 1.5
Nash Road for erratic driving. The driver was contacted and identified
as David Hamilton, 43 of Seward. During the stop it was determined that
Hamilton was under the influence of alcohol and driving while his
license was revoked. Further investigation showed that Hamilton was
required to have an ignition interlock device installed in any vehicle
he drove and that he had recently been involved in a crash while driving
a separate vehicle. Hamilton had failed to report the crash to police
or Troopers. Hamilton was found to have 2 prior DUI convictions making
this one a felony. Hamilton was arrested and remanded into the Seward
Jail.

Type: Burglary 1st, Theft 2nd

Text: On 6/4/09, at 1700 hours, Troopers investigated a break in at a
cabin near Summit Lake. An investigation showed that sometime between
6/3/09 and 6/4/09 unknown person(s) entered the cabin and took several
items including two guns. Value of the stolen items is estimated to be
$2000-$2500.

Text: On 06-04-09 at approximately 0139 hours, Cody A. Mitchell, age 21
of Houston, was arrested by Alaska Wildlife Troopers on a warrant for
failure to appear on an original charge of Assault IV. Mitchell was
contacted while he was towing a boat from the Little Susitna River in
Houston. Mitchell was transported and remanded to MSP facility with
bail set at $1,500.

Investigation revealed Shaw was using bait where prohibited and was

Type: Take Game Closed Season and Fail to Salvage Game Meat
Text: On 6-02-09, in Homer District Court, Ashton Callahan, age 19, of
Homer, AK. Plead no contest to charges of taking a mountain goat during
a closed season and for fail to salvage game meat. Callahan was fined a

Type: Arrest - Child Pornography Defendant
Text: On 3/4/09, ABI, Fairbanks' Child Abuse Investigation Unit, acting
in its capacity as a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task
force (ICAC), began an investigation into the trading of child
pornography over the internet by suspects located in Alaska.
Investigation revealed a suspect, Drew Wherry, age 25 of Ft. Wainwright,
who investigators believed to be actively looking for and trading child
pornographic images. The results of the investigation were presented to
the Fairbanks District Attorney's Office, and on 6/4/09, a Fairbanks
Grand Jury indicted Wherry on 21 counts of Possession of Child
Pornography, and one count of Distribution of Child Pornography.
On 6/5/09, Wherry was arrested without incident on an outstanding
warrant related to the indictment, and remanded at Fairbanks
Correctional Center with bail set at $25,000 plus court approved third
party custodian.
The case was a cooperative investigation involving members of ABI
Anchorage's Computer and Financial Crimes Unit and ABI Fairbanks' Child
Abuse Investigation Unit. Assistance was received from members of the
Anchorage Police Department, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement
(ICE), and the US Army's Fort Wainwright Criminal Investigative Division
(CID).
