The Alaska Piano Competition, formerly the Marguerite Downey Competition, took place this weekend with a recital by the winners taking place at UAA's Arts Building Recital Hall on Sunday night.

The winners are:

Senior Young Artist Division
Ian Hun, First Place
Annie Kil, Second Place
Alex Yang, Third Place

Junior Young Artist Division
Jaster Jackson, First Place
Shallyn Kim, Second Place
Emily Cao, Third Place
Vivian Lee, Honorable Mention

Intermediate I Division
Jessen Cao, First Place
Alexandra Flint, Second Place
Nicole Brewer, Third Place
Yvonne Balgenorth, Honorable Mention

Intermetidate II Division
Maria Hanson, First Place
Marinna Panting, Second Place
