Anchorage Chamber Citywide Cleanup: Spring Cleaning!The good news is the sun is out and the snow is melting, however, that always translates to a winter’s worth of trash and debris around town. As busy parents, we all know we should be picking up garbage, but time is always a factor. That’s where the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce comes in.

The organization spearheads the annual Anchorage Chamber Citywide Cleanup which begins Saturday, May 2 with free dump days. Don't miss the Clean Sweep Celebration at the Delaney Park Strip on Thursday, May 7. The Clean Sweep Celebration is free and open to all who participate in cleaning our city’s streets. I’ve been told that there are many fun activities planned for kids at The Clean Sweep Celebration from 5-7 p.m., including bouncy toys, face painting and my favorite, free ice cream.
