Late last year, The National Women’s Law Center published a tool kit to assist advocates pushing for quality comprehensive, affordable health care reform that meets the needs of women and their families. As the national discussion on health care gains momentum, this literature provides important information.
The Tool kit, "Making Real Progress for Women and Health Care," seeks to empower women's advocates in the health care reform movement at the state and national levels. This resource outlines the basics of health care reform and explores several issues women face in particular. The tool kit explores various reform proposals and their impact on women's access to solid health care. To download a copy of the Reform Matters Tool kit, click here.
The National Women's Law Center is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization founded in 1972. Their mission is to use the law in all its forms to "protect and advance the progress of women and girls at work, in school, and in virtually every aspect of their lives."
