From Kyle Hopkins in Anchorage --
UPDATE #2, 1:45 p.m.: Investigator Tim Petumenos just said he will release his troopergate report at 3:30 p.m. today.
He said the report would cover Gov. Sarah Palin's firing of Walt Monegan as well as a separate complaint from Anchorage activist Andree McLeod alleging alleges that state hiring practices were circumvented for a Palin supporter.
UPDATE #1: There's an excruciating wait as we listen to a union rep talk about a proposed change to state nepotism rules. (Totally unrelated to Palin.)
Petumenos has two staff members with him, and each has a thick, yellow-bound document on their lap. I should note that when I called
Personnel Board chair Debra English before the meeting to ask about
the Palin investigation, she didn't say anything but recommended
showing up.

Original post:
The state Personnel Board, which is investigating Gov. Sarah Palin in the firing of her comer public safety commissioner, is meeting now in Anchorage.
The investigator, Anchorage attorney Tim Petumenos, is here and the board briefly held a closed door meeting. Reporters and John Cyr, the executive director of the Public Safety Employee Association, were just allowed back in.
It's not clear what, if anything, we'll hear about the investigation.
