I heard about a guy from Colorado fishing out of Deep Creek last week from a surf kayak, the sort you sit on instead of in. The guys in real boats around him were sorta watching him to make sure he didn't get in trouble. Well, not only did he not get into trouble, he caught a king! All he had was a trout net, so the guys on one of the real boats netted it for him. And then he paddled back to shore with the fish sitting on top of the kayak with him. I'm pretty sure he has no idea just how lucky he got...

He probably couldn't afford
He probably couldn't afford the $60 bucks for the tractor launch fee for his 'real' boat.
I don't blame him - I won't pay it anymore either.
