A group of prom-goers got busted for underage drinking this week after one of their companions needed to be treated by medics for alcohol poisoning. See the dispatch below.

Case number: 08-31983

Type: DWLS

Text: On 4-29-08, at approximately 0300 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to a report of a disturbance on Blarney Circle. Investigation
determined that Michael Luckie, age 21 of Anchorage, had been driving
his 1999 Dodge Neon. Further investigation revealed that Luckie's
license was suspended. Luckie was issued a summons for DWLS and
released.

Location: Fairbanks

Case number: 08-31737

Type: DWSOL

Text: On April 28, 2008, at approximately 0645 hours, Alaska State
Troopers contacted Konstantin Misyuk, age 27 of Fairbanks, near mile 5
Steese Hwy for speeding. Investigation revealed that Misyuk was driving
with a suspended operator's license. Misyuk was given a summons to
court and released from the scene.

Case number: 08-31484

Type: Minor Consume Alcohol

Text: On 4/27/08 at approximately 0639 hours, AST was called to respond
to a residence off Healy Spur Road where a juvenile was being treated by
EMS for alcohol poisoning. AST responded to the Healy Clinic where the
juvenile was transported and found that several juveniles had consumed
alcohol following the High-School Prom. One juvenile was transported to
Fairbanks for further medical treatment. AST citied 6 juveniles for
consuming alcohol and released them to their parents.

Location: Nenana

Case number: 08-31982

Type: Probation Violation

Text: On 4/29/08 at approximately 2013 hours, AST received a call that
an assault occurred in Nenana. AST responded to Nenana and investigated
the assault. Ryan Leo Duyck, 25 of Nenana, was contacted at his
residence. Duyck was currently on Felony Probation with several
different conditions to follow. One of Duyck's conditions was not to
consume alcohol. Duyck was under the influence of alcohol when he was
contacted and submitted to a PBT which revealed a BrAC level of .225%.
Duyck was transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center and remanded for
one count of Probation Violation.

Type: Failure to Register as Sex Offender 1st Degree

Text: On 4/28/08 at approximately 1707 hours, AST contacted Jason James
Paul, 42 of Nenana, during an unrelated investigation.. Paul was not
compliant with the state's sex offender laws. AST also found record
that Paul has been convicted with this same offence previously. Paul
was charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in the First
Degree and transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.
Investigation complete.

Text: On 4/27/08 at 2000 hrs. Alaska State Troopers stopped a 2006 Ford
PK near mile 45 Steese Hwy for speeding. Ernest S. James, 35 yoa of
Fairbanks, had a revoked driver's license and he was in violation of his
felony probation. James was a arrested and transported to Fairbanks
Correctional Center.

Type: Warrant Arrest
Text: On 4-26-08, at 1500 hours, AST in Girdwood conducted a traffic
stop on a 1998 Nissan Maxima for an equipment violation. Investigation
revealed the passenger, Donald Morgan Thomas age 26 of Girdwood, had an
outstanding $1000.00 arrest warrant for failure to appear (original
charge driving while violating a limited license). Thomas was arrested
and later remanded to the Anchorage Jail.

Type: Theft in the second degree

Text: On 04/27/08, at 1424 hours, Sarah E. Faulkner-Mattingley (age 38
of Girdwood, AK) reported a theft from her vehicle. On 04/26/08
sometime between 2200 hours and 2400 hours, unknown person(s) stole a
pink leather purse valued at $300 and a Cannon digital camera valued at
$400. The items were stolen from her unsecured vehicle while it was
parked in the Olympic Mountain Loop area in Girdwood.

Text: On 04/27/08, at 1306 hours, Graham D. Ward (age 26 of Fairbanks,
AK) reported a theft of a snowmachine. Sometime between 04/26/08, 1400
hours and 04/27/08, 0811 hours, unknown person(s) stole the snowmachine
from the back of Ward's pickup truck while it was parked overnight in
the Alyeska Day Lodge parking area in Girdwood. The snowmachine was a
black and orange 2003 Ski-Doo Summit valued at $4000.

Text: On 04/23/08, at 1130 hours, Alaska State Troopers arrested Lisa
A. Swanson (age 39 of Whittier, AK) on a $250 warrant for Failure to
Appear for arraignment on an original charge of driving without a valid
operator license. Swanson was contacted as a passenger in a vehicle
that was stopped for a traffic violation in the Girdwood area. Swanson
was remanded to the Anchorage Correctional Complex.
