New York Rangers rookie center Brandon Dubinsky of Anchorage just keeps making strides in the NHL -- Thursday, he authored his first multiple-point game, notching one goal and one assist in a 4-2 win over the New York Islanders.
Dubinsky's two points also marked the first time he has scored points in back-to-back games. He also was dialed in Thursday when it came to face-offs, winning 12 of 17. For the season, Dubinsky has 3-4--7 totals in 25 games.
Rangers center Scott Gomez of Anchorage got on the scoresheet, too, bagging his fifth goal of the season, a power-play strike. Gomez owns 5-13--18 totals in 25 games.
