Gypsies burned at the stake, mistaken identities, a forbidden love and one powerhouse number after the next. Sung in Italian with English supertitles.
“Don Pasquale,” Gaetano Donizetti
April 12, 16, 18, 20, 2008
A comic opera about Don Pasquale and the clever Norina who pretends to be his wife and acts like a shrew until he loses interest in marriage. This frees her to marry her true love, the don’s nephew.
Sung in Italian with English supertitles.
