
In late March, we reported on the beer playoffs arranged by The Washington Post. The final results have arrived.
Sadly, you can’t get the winner, Brooklyn Lager, here, though quarterfinalists Rolling Rock, Pete’s Wicked Ale and Ellie’s Brown Ale, can be found if you search hard enough.
The field of contenders seemed suspiciously weighted toward the east coast, in our opinion. Aside from a couple of California beers, eliminated in the second round, everything seemed to hail from other side of the continental divide.
What west coast beers, including Alaska brews, do you think should have been included in the showdown?
