I knew Adam for a short time

I knew Adam for a short time once we got back from afghanistan he was always willing to work hard and help out while we were building up the Brigade. He was kind, smart, and damn good soldier.

Peace.

Perhaps time will help us recover somewhat from the loss of this true American patriot. But as we take the "medicine of the memories of the life of Adam Kennedy", each "dose" is an element of reassurance that his life was an inspiration to us all. Greater love than this no man has than to lay down his life for his friends.
Rest now Adam in the loving comfort of the Lord. I am sure He greeted with you with the words "Ye have done well my good and faithful servant. Enter ye into the kingdom of heaven".
God Bless.
Uncle Jim.

Fallen Friend

Adam was a soldier that had worked for me in Iraq. He was very outgoing and would always lend a hand to accomplish any and all missions. He always had a smile on his face and he never got down. If he did he did not let anyone else know it. I will miss Adam, i will never forget him or his big smile. Adam was another one of those TRUE WARRIORS.

Easter

My son, too, is on this mission. When I learned that there was a death, I was filled with grief. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I know that the soldiers there are missing him.

Never Forgotten

I had the pleasure of meeting Adam at my brother's wedding back in Anchorage last June. My brother Chris is currently serving over in Iraq in the same unit as Adam. He was a very much a gentleman, funny and outgoing. When I heard about what happened my thoughts and prayers immediately went to his family. It was an honor meeting him and his family will always be in my prayers. May God wrap his arms around his family during this difficult time!

Easter

My son Jonathan Reid Hursh is serving in Iraq. I just received word from him after several days of no contact, no emails, no phone calls. Today he told me that a soilder was lost, and I can only assume that it was Adam. I may be wrong, bt the math makes sense. I can only imagine what Adam's family feels. I read that his father sensed a change in his son. Undoubtedly changed. Yet, he returned to serve. But for the grace of god.... My prayers are with you. Adam. My prayers are with your parents who bare the sorrow of your passing. God bless,
